Text of poem:

If the day has arrived at last to weigh anchor from time,
A ship departs from this harbor towards an unknown clime.
As if it has no passengers, silently it makes way:
No hand is waved nor handkerchief as it sails away.
This journey is distress for those left behind on the quay,
their tearful eyes scan the black horizons day after day.
Desperate hearts: This will neither be the last ship to go
nor the final bereavement of a life filled with sorrow.
In this world, the beloved and the lover wait in vain
Not knowing that the loved ones will never come back again.
Those who sailed away are surely happy with their sojourn:
Years went by since that voyage, yet not one soul will return.

La storia è impregnata di sangue e persecuzioni. Basta chiudere gli occhi per scoprire quante ferite ha lasciato nella nostra anima

Nanof - Oreste Fernando Nannetti fu internato nel manicomio di Volterra nella sezione criminale. Iniziò a raccontare la sua storia di ingegnere astronautico minerario sulla facciata del padiglione che lo ospitava. Questi sono 5 minuti per ricordare i luoghi in cui è vissuto.
Questo progetto è la base da cui parte il racconto sui luoghi abbandonati. Un progetto fatto di emozioni, sensazioni e musica.

La fenice rinasce sempre dalle proprie ceneri così come questo airone si solleva dalle acque contaminate dalle nostre azioni.

Le phénix renaît de ses cendres comme l'héron se soulève d'eaux contaminées par nos actions.
